Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have questions? We’ve got answers.

What makes Accessible Design Studios different from other coworking spaces?

Accessible Design Studios is created exclusively for interior designers and related professionals — not general creatives or freelancers. It’s a professional environment with design-specific tools, resources, and events that mirror what you’d find in a full-service firm, but with the flexibility and independence of your own practice.

Can I receive mail and samples here?

Yes. Members with private or shared offices receive mail and parcel delivery service, so you can have product samples, finish materials, and client packages sent directly to the studio.

What types of events and learning opportunities are offered?

We host CEUs, vendor presentations, design technology classes, business development workshops, and networking events throughout the year — all focused on helping you sharpen your skills and grow your business.

Can I bring clients to the studio?

Absolutely. Members can host client meetings in our conference rooms and private offices areas or host brief client conversations in the shared communal areas . The studio is designed to impress — professional, beautifully finished, and fully equipped for client interactions.

Can anyone join?

Membership is open to qualified design professionals — including registered interior designers, decorators, home stagers, and design-focused start-ups. Every member must work within or closely support the interior design industry.

What kind of community will I be joining?

You’ll be surrounded by experienced designers, new start-ups, and small firms who share your language, challenges, and passion for design. Expect a professional yet supportive community that values collaboration and respect.

Is this a good option if I already have a home office?

Yes — many of our members maintain home offices but use the studio for client meetings, access to resources, collaboration, and a professional setting that helps separate work from home.

What does a day at the studio look like?

It’s different for everyone. Some members meet clients, some develop project presentations, and others use the library to pull samples. But everyone benefits from having the space, tools, and creative energy of a professional design environment.
